Welcome to iloveoganics, a new and exciting concept in organic shopping, offering the very best in organic and natural health and beauty.
Our large modern shop in the prestigious Wainwright's Yard shopping development in Kendal, houses the largest selection of natural and organic skin care in the North West.
Our passion for organics started several years ago when my husband, Ian, was diagnosed with a serious illness. We both then embarked on a journey of discovery trawling medical and health sites and consulting health professionals and alternative therapists in an attempt to learn how to achieve optimum health.
It will come as no surprise to you to learn that many professionals, cancer sites and health sites advocate an organic lifestyle, eating organically and using chemical free skin care and toiletries.
The science behind it is simple; your skin is porous and absorbs everything you put on it. Therefore, chemicals often used in many non-organic skin care products find their way straight into your bloodstream. Over a period of time the effects are cumulative putting additional pressure on the liver to process these toxins.
Hormonal cancers such as breast and prostate cancer have been shown to be influenced by diet and lifestyle, so it makes sense to protect yourself and watch what you eat and what you put on your skin. We have many customers who also suffer from a variety of skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis who have found, since going organic, that their skin is improving.
We have an organic beauty salon attached to our shop which adopts the same principles. We are one of very few salons in the UK which use entirely organic products, even offering organic waxing, organic gel nails, organic dermabrasion and organic tanning.
